ALSO the cherokee nation does not rely on bq to be enrolled / a member so you can look further into that yourself. it’s the colonizers game, that’s all there is to it. ![]() natives now are trying to STILL stop that from happening. bq has tried to eradicate our people since it’s birth. also we are in the same category of horses and dogs when it comes to blood purity and what ‘percent’ you are :) if you want to reconnect to your nation, do the research, stand up for your people, spread knowledge and education, you’re native. we are the only groups of people who need to prove our bq (in the past and currently still in some nations) to be considered native. so i suggest into looking at the actual history and origin of bq. Hey! bq is very traumatic for many natives (me included), especially mixed natives and/or those that don’t “look” native (which goes into having to ~prove~ they’re native and thus… swinging back around to bq). ![]() ![]() Can you tell me more about blood quantum & how it relates to 1% indigenous people? I'm doubting myself because I'm only 1% from the Tsalagihi Ayeli nation.
